What is ALS:
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also referred to as ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Motor Neuron Disease or MND) is a neurological disease, characterized by progressive muscle weakness and atrophy (wasting away or loss of muscle). ALS was first identified in 1874 by a French neurologist, Jean Martin Charcot

ALS can occur from 20 years of age well into the 80s, although the most common ages of the onset are the mid-50s. ALS occurs in one to two out of every 100,000 people. At any given time there are about six individuals with ALS for every 100,000 people. This translates to about 30,000 people in the United States living with ALS.
ALS generally appears unpredictably and sporadically throughout the world. The geographical distribution of the disease is rather even, with only a few areas having an unusually high number of cases.

You can print and send in your request with payment to the ALS office, the tickets will be mailed to you!

You must purchase your tickets through the ALS office to donate to the cause. You will also receive one hot dog and soda per ticket.
