Playing American Idol

What a fun weekend. It all began with playing American Idol. Drew was the producer, judge and performer. It was inspired since Jeremy bought the Season 1-4 DVD.
We took turns on individual performances, group...and 1st audition w/out a microphone. I tended to get sent home alot. Jeremy and Drew made it to Hollywood everything.

We hooked up the karaoke machine..not hooked to the TV... and just used regular CD's. Drew decided his favorite type of music is R&B. He sang Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Part Time Lover. He also LOVES Emotions (which we know is by the Bee Gee's). He watches Chris D (one of the final 24) sign it on TV then rewinds and has did it over and over. Using the hand gestures etc. He really has great "stage" presence.

We also went to see Curious George yesterday. Very cute movie. Drew Barrymore bothered me a little, not sure why since I usually like her. The theater was filled w/ little ones. When George gets sent back to Africa you can tell that George is heartbroken and they put him in a cage and shove him in the back of the truck. Oh My Gosh...you may as well have drowned puppies. The children we crying..screams of " Mommy what are they doing w/ George"..."No open the cage" it was heartwrenching. But all in all very cute movie.
