My House!

Happy Friday

TGIF. Man I've been tired. We went to the baseball game yesterday, only drank HOT chocolate but still couldn't stay up to watch the news. I doubt we do anything tonight, that's OK I'd like to see the Jag finale and watch Num3ers. That's a cool show. The Northern Exposure guy isn't bad to look at either. Then tomorrow morning we're picking up Drewby and going to the circus. I hate the circus.

Tomorrow night I want to go out to eat SOMEWHERE. I want to eat at a table. Then we're heading back to Fairmount. Jimmy gave us some ticket for a secret gift. Wonder what that will be?? I'll let you know if it's anything exciting!

DRUNK BITCH

1am, drunk bitch w/ a car load of people coming home from the baseball game backs into the Maxima which was parked in front of the house. Guys puking and she states "it's a rental don't worry, I work for Enterprise". Do you know how close I am to calling management to let them know about this? My luck she is management. It was a huge ass Suburban. I drove by it this morning and there wasn't a SCRATCH on it. I'm pissed, just as pissed though that Jeremy screamed at me, "Mary Pat" a million times. Coudln't he WALK into the bedroom to tell me that someone hit the car. I thought he was lieing paralyzed on the living room floor. Can you tell I'm still pissed. She hasn't tried to call me yet. I guess she has my number, I have hers but am too pissed to do anything. AGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH.

Six Flags

Well I still LOVE Six Flags. We played Game Cube Friday night (Pokemon and TMNT), I went mega shopping Saturday afternoon, spent "free" money, picked up Lion's Choice..then Jeremy called to tell me I finally got my profit sharing check. What a beauty day. Saturday night we went to Swing Around Fun Town. Drew got half his tickets in Tootsie Rolls. Kids!
Sunday we went to Six Flags. We were there from 12:30ish til 5:30ish. We did, the huge ass Ferris Wheel, Scrambler, Huck Finn/Scooby Doo, Log Flume, Buccaneer/Joker, Mine Train, Bumper Cars and for some STUPID reason Thunder River. A good time was had by all. We were home before 7pm but I was exhausted! My brian felt 12 but my body was really 38.

Well we have the guy coming to measure for the entry way tile floor. Moving right along. I'm seeing a dinner party by Oh, maybe 2006!

Paula has Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy

Sure, convienient. After she realized a million people were talking about how ridiculous she looks. It seems like a disease that gives you chronic pain would NOT make you stupid.

I think though it will be Constantine, Bo, Carrie and Vonzell in the final four. MARK MY WORDS

Happy Friday!

Pope Benedict 16th

"Dear brothers and sisters, after the great Pope John Paul II, the cardinals have elected me — a simple, humble worker in the vineyard of the Lord.
"The fact that the Lord can work and act even with insufficient means consoles me, and above all I entrust myself to your prayers.
"In the joy of the risen Lord, trusting in his permanent help, we go forward. The Lord will help us and Mary his very holy mother stands by us."

********
I must add I'm blubbering like an idiot here at working, hoping that no one has seen the tears.

Dreams

I don't know if I need more sleep or change something in my routine. But my dreams are getting ridiculous. Last night included my best friend Brittney Spears and my journal become movie "Sahara". Crazy stuff.

Well that was an awesome Cardinal game last night. What a great Ninth Inning! Wow. Glad to see the players from the bench literaly step up to the plate!

Weather is awesome, we bought Six Flags season passes and I'm getting a Federal tax refund, first time in I don't know how long!

Just a few more things burning in my brian and I will be worry free. :0)

US Open and other stuff

I love doing cool stuff. A few years ago I did the thunder sticks at the World Series, this year a Broilmaster Grill that I sold is going to be on the 18th Hole at Pinehurst for the US Open. COOL!

Uncool, Nadia Turner gets axed while pig face Scott Sabol and talentless Anthony Federov are still there. How 'bout Bo's attitude? That was cool.

Yesterday sucked at work, people kept wanting stuff and I couldn't get it to them quick enough, one guy called me 5 times for tracking on an item...and I don't track items, customer service does...and it wasn't shipping from here, they had to get the information from the factory!!! Oh well, today is another day.

Found out a friend through works mom has breast cancer, sure hope all goes well with that. I'll see him when he comes to town for the sales mtg.

I am going to take tonight to do nothing, last night I slept horrible and just felt wasted. So tonight I'm going to get my taxes together, watch Survivor, CSI and Without A Trace. I need to do laundry, would like to pet the dog. (I didn't even see him last night). Tomorrow night I want to talk Jeremy into a date night, I really want to see Sahara. Then Saturday is Kreigers w/ the friends and I need to get going on my thank you cards. Mom said the old people are bitching.

270 Driving

OK, if you are driving the car on 270 and there is an accident on the SHOULDER, not in your lane of traffic but the SHOULDER and there are police/fire/ambulance/tow truck assisting the driver or drivers you do NOT need to be concerned about the incident or the well being of the drivers and passangers. They are being assisted by professionals. Please proceed with caution past the incident. Caution means being alert and slowing to possibly 50 mpg. You do NOT need to slam on your breaks and gawk at the incident.

If I'm in front of you on the HWY 40 off ramp onto 270 and I'm crusing at about 10-30 and the folks in front of me have bright RED brake lights, that means that they are stopped or stopping and I am slowing up in anticipation of stopping myself. The off ramp is large, but it is still only ONE lane and is for ONE car, single file. Riding on my ass and flashing your brights will NOT make me go faster, only to slam in the back of another car. Swerving on either side of me will not make me pull to the side and let you butt up in line, I will only pull over for Fire, Police or Ambulance.

If you see bright red brake lights in front of you it is a cautionary sign that they are either stopped and or stopping. It would behoove you to take your foot off of the gas pedal. You do NOT need to slam on your brakes. Just SLOW DOWN, this may help the life of your brakes if you don't use them so much and will also help avoid whiplash cases around the metro area.

If I'm merging into traffic and not doing it fast enough for you. PLEASE don't honk at me! That only startles me and I may loose my place and only hold you up longer, believe me I want to get to my destination as bad as you do.

Wow I feel better!

The On Deck Circle

The On Deck Circle

Nikko!

Poor Nikko. Scott or Anthony should have gone, not Nikko. Jeremy is all up in arms about never voting again..I thought he was talking political he was on such a rampage. I reminded him if Nikko wasn't from St Louis we wouldn't be voting for him. SO... American Idol goes on.

I'm going to miss Survivor tonight. We're doing a church thing w/ the in laws.

I had a real reason for blogging today and I don't remember what it is. All I know is that I have to find out how Tommy Hummels' spring break went. He's the guy who is hysterical...I have a link to his blog about a month ago. The boy cracks me up!

Pope John Paul 2

Just in case you wanted to know I'll give you my thoughts on the Pope. I was fortunate enough to see the Pope in Denver. WOW! That was an experience. I remember Cherry whatever state park, thousands of kids yelling "John Paul 2, we love you" and he turned, smiled and said "John Paul 2, I love YOU". He was SO incredibly sweet, he LOVED kids so much. I think he was a very wise man, had great compassion for people and was a tremendous leader. He will be greatly missed. I was very young when Pope John was around, I really don't remember him..then I do remember John Paul the first, who my mom didn't remember. I clearly remember in 1978 when they had the election of JP1 and then the funeral and additional election of JP2. This is going to be really wild having another Pope, and my thought is they all seem way to old to be elected! Seems the best one is the 60 year old from Austria, guess we'll just have to wait and see!
