Still Waiting
Well here I am at the Buder Branch Library. I got a call that they are debating salary right now and I should hear on that job today or tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.
We played alot of Poke mon this weekend, ALOT. Drew and I really get it and are totally into batteling and evolving our pokemon. That takes lots of work!
It snowed off and on today, that was pretty. Chilly though, brrrr.
Nothing else profound, I want to get home to watch the post Oscar show on Oprah and eat a meatball sandwich.

Olson Twins
I'm not gay but I had a dream about the Olsen Twins. I am not a fan and only watched them on Full House. But there they were. I was having a party in my parents basement for some reason, there were adults and kids there, I'm not sure why Mary Kate and Ashley were there but they gave me their pizza order, one of the stick girls says, "I want a apple and fried oyster crunch pizza". I explained it was St Louis MO and we don't put apple on our pizze or oysters...shrimp and pineapple maybe."....then the dream went on from there. Very strange.
8:28am, still nothing from the potential new job.
I couldn't care less that Ashlee got knocked off Survivor, I didn't like her yet. I do have a crush on Tom and Ian.

The Tommy Hummel Show
This kid knows baseball and seems to be a Cards fan. He may come in handy. He's funny too.
Profound Soap Moment
OK ATWT is not Shakespere but today the character Mike said something I heard before and just wanted to share it. I can't remember the exact quote but it was something about not waiting to start your life. Kind of having in your mind when life really starts and not living until you have achieved those things or feelings. In the past I thought life wouldn't start until I had a house, husband and children. That was 13 or so years ago. I'm glad I didn't quit living, I did quite the opposite. So anyway I just thought that was something to ponder over to make sure that I don't do that, pause life to wait for something. Although I know I go through funks, everyone does and life just zooms by but it usually doesn't last more than a day or so. Tonight I get to go w/ dad to Sears to get a new dryer. Not exciting but hey, it really is my life.
Why Blog?
I was thinking about that. I was reading other blogs and someone reached in to figure out why someone would blog out in the open and open their thoughts to a keyboard. Well I figured it out. No one really wants to hear all the things I blog, the really don't care. Who wants to hear my opinion on TV shows or pop culture things or the mundane dribble that consumes my day, the answer is nobody does really. They are polite and listen and at times can make a conversation about it but that's about it. Since Jim got sice there really hasn't been anyone to open up my head to and get me. Just Jim. I miss him.
Thursday
Thursday, not too creative. We had VERY pretty snow last night, fluffy stuff hanging on the budding tree branches but NOT on the street. That's nice. I'm sure though it's just enough to be muddy so Scooby gets his paws all messy. (pawls as Leona says)
Cambells Chunky Chili was pretty good last night, just enough junk in it. Very different from what we usually get.
American Idol was OK. I kinda liked the Judd guy they got rid of, oh well.
Jeremy and I played Tetris for over an hour, until I beat him into submission. :0)
The flattened guy on CSI NY totally grossed me out. Yick.
Michael J Fox on Letterman was pretty cool. He's still a little hottie.
I can't wait til we get hooked up w/ cabel or sattelite again, that Jesse James motercycle guy was totally awesome on 60 Minutes. I'd love to see that Monster Show on Discovery. Maybe later this year.
I can't get anymore bored, I tend to go between yahoo news, listening to the radio, tetris on my cell phone, reading blogs and checking my yahoo email. I do that for 8 hours.
I sure hope I get that phone call today, I actually stooped to applying for a job paying $8 an hour yesterday. Aaaaaaagggghhhh
Seeing as I don't know when you married, I can't really tell you what the first year of your marriage will bring, but I can tell you that you're slated for some pretty big life changes this year. They begin in July (2005) when Saturn changes zodiac signs. This should correspond to a major change in life direction for your husband (or father or close male relative). It may involve a promotion or some kind of advancement based on an unexpected vacancy or a superior's move and/or transfer.
Jupiter enters Scorpio on October 25, 2005. This indicates (again) some kind of move, change in family set-up, or even change of work venue. But the circumstances look complicated and so it may take as long June 2006 before you're clear (or free) to act on these changes and developments. Indeed July 2006 looks quite powerful for you. It's a very important time--both fulfilling and empowering. This is when I see you and your new family really setting up house and home in the way you've always dreamed of.
Hope this helps and good luck---

Why am I not creative?
I want a new name, I changed it to MP's Journal but I don't like that. I'm open to suggestions.
Sherpa Patrol
This Chicago boy is a HOOT.
NOTHING YET
For crying out loud still no new job. I REALLY want this job. Seems lady #3's infant was in the hospital and had to postpone her 2nd interview. Can I say "boo hoo, gimme the job?". No I guess not that wouldn't be very Christian of me, but I wanna.
SO..they are going to make a decision by Friday.
I love Judging Amy, I'm pissed they gave her a miscarriage cause I think it would have been a fun story line. Good show though and Marc Berman said it's 50/50 of it surviving.
American Idol was great, girls did a good job! Aloha the St Louis gal did a fantastic job, the black gal w/ the fro though was my favorite along w/ Carrie Underwood. It will be interesting tonight to see what happens.
No new job, still no steak for dinner.
FYI, it's snowing outside. I wish we would have a blizzard. No such luck though I'm sure.

Hello Sucks
Seems I have downloaded it twice and I'm getting this in my browser http://-nohome%20"http://www.hello.com/help.php" and something about verifying my email address. I guess I'll just email the photos to my yahoo or something and put them in my briefcase. Crap
Well, let the games begin! Seems this is the best group of guys I've seen on American Idol, I missed season one and 1/2 of season two. Of course I voted for Nikko Smith since he is a hometown boy although I think Bo Brice was clearly the best...Constantine is sexier though. And Mario and the Federov boy are cuties. My favorite girl for tonight is Mickala (I think that's her name..the Fran Dresher wannabe). Jeremy likes the blondie from OK.
What a bad friend I am, I'm staying home to watch American Idol and she is going to wine tasting by herself.
Interview #2 went well, the guy was very nice. Good mixture of personal and business conversation. Interview lasted about an hour, he is supposed to make a decision by tomorrow. Hope it's today, if it is we're having steak for dinner. :0)
I set up an interview for Saturday monrning w/ CitiCorp, I hope I can cancel it though.
We seem to be having winter again, I don't like it. My Star Magnolia is budding, oh well, such is life.
I'm getting more pictures today from Carol, she got them from Dawn. Cool!
I guess I'll figure out how to get those images up this afternoon. Nothing earth shattering but I'd like them up here.
This is cool. Just type what you would like this guy to have on his billboard and wah lah it's on there! Very fun.

Stir-Crazy
I can't wait to get out of here. I have officially cleaned out my office. I have 4 bags w/ my junk in them and tossed a bunch of stuff. You know napkins, salt, ketchup plus a gillion business cards of companies I ment to follow up on and present their product.
3pm 2nd interview today, keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I found my non-compete. Not an issue, I'm not interviewing w/ a competitor. Eileen and Jennifer did and nothing happened to them, oh well I have avoided other distributors.
Nothing much happened this weekend. Drew wasn't over, we just hung out w/ the animals. We watched Nascar and movies. I finally watched the Girl With the Pearl Earring. Man Scarlette Johanson has changed, ALOT. I guess that was weight loss and plastic surgery. I saw that Life interview that she hated what she did in the middle of her carrer, it must have been after that movie.
Fish fry Friday SUCKED. Mac and cheese was made w/ powdered stuff. Fish was good though. We really ate horribly yesterday, this whole weekend really. Hopefully we'll have a decent dinner tonight.
Dana called and is thinking about sending Drew to catholic school after all. Not that St Elizabeth Ann Seaton though, she's thinking about St Charles Bormero or whatever it is. If he goes there I better learn how to pronounce it.
I'm almost 40, well half way to 39 and my mother is still calling me to see if I went to church on Sunday. WHY must she instill the guilt? She honestly believes (this was a converstation we had last week) that if you die and you weren't baptised Cathoic you will go to hell...well not in those words but you won't go to heaven. So the jews, protostants, muslims, hindus, pagans, etc...are all going to hell. Only Catholics are going to heaven. So I guess when mom gets there she'll be suprised to see Ghandi and President Regan. I don't know why those two popped in my head. Oh well I have to not dwell on the stuff that drives me nuts.
I have to figuer out this week how to install Hello again and get up a couple more pictures. And we HAVE to get the internet going at home.
Hopefully tomorrow when I check in I'll have the job offer at the other place.
Happy Monday!

Emmy for Cynthia Nixon
Wow, I'm glad I watched ER. Cynthia Nixon did a wonderful job. I'm glad I passed up Without A Trace last night.
Well looks like another award awesome Survivor Season underway. Again the young against old, sort of. Man Angie was pissed that gay guy didn't take her on their team. I LIKE Tom, which means he won't make it to the jury..who knows. That Island is beautiful. I heard the rumors that they may do Survivor Canada, it wouldn't be the same. Not enough nudity and dirty people for good TV.
I'm pissed I may not get my big commission check in February before I leave. That irks me we really need to get our finances in order and that was going to help tremendously. Oh well what you gonna do.
We may go see a movie tonight. I would like to see Hitch or Precint whatever...I'd love to see Sideways or Million Dollar Baby but that's out at Crestwood, I know Jeremy likes the Esquire so much more.
Should be a nice rainy weekend. I am SO looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning.
Man I need a vacation.

Poor Bugs
Poor Bugs Bunny, I heard he's now a lunatic and has all white eyes. Oh and he's brown. That isn't right. That's like making Pooh purple and putting pants on him. I can't wait to see what Nelly has to say about that lunatic thing.
What a boring day. We had a little excitement on Cuba Ct last night. Around 10:30pm some idiot came flying down Sulfer and knocked down the cement light pole (typed concrete ten times then unsure of how to spell went w/ cement)...needless to say all the neighbors were outside in jammy clothes freezing looking at the pole and broken glass. Idiot off duty cop drives by OVER the glass while we're trying to flag him down to stop. Oh well, by the time I got up this morning there was a horse up and I hear that they already replaced it.
Carol and I are going to a wine tasting class next Thursday. I wonder if they do it JUST to sell wine or if I'll actually learn something. Not to be a wine snob but I think I know alot already, about storing wine, the way a cork should look, tasting on different parts in your mouth. Oh well maybe I'll find that I actually enjoy something more than Pinot Grigio.
Chili Mac for dinner tonight and an exciting night of TV by myself. It's the Survivor premier. Yippee. I'm torn though between watching ER or Without A Trace. ER is w/ Cynthia Nixon as a stroke victim..even though I don't watch that anymore it may be good since you'll hear it from inside her head.
Another prominent person in town died of ALS. Front page of the Post. Where was Jim..NOWHERE. That still pisses me off that they wouldn't run ANYTHING. Excuse me but when a 40 year old dies of a horrible disease and they were related to the ex-mayor I think it deserves a little blurb.
I made an appointment for an interview on Monday morning. I think I might cancel it tomorrow. Dynamics International. I googled them and couldn't find anything, I don't think that's a good sign. It's a group interview to tell us more about the company, plus it's something to do w/ health and wellness. And I'm NOT about health and wellness. Nope, I'm talking myself out of it.
I didn't get a call back yet from my other interview, he said today or tomorrow. Hoping tomorrow.
Mom went on and on at lunch about how nifty the new dentist fills a tooth. She complains about dad...she's told me the story ten times! The things that ring her bell. Mothers...
Well I guess that's it for today. Poor Bugs, wonder what they'll do to Taz.

Good Interview
Good interview today. What a breath of fresh air having a conversation w/ another human being that was not condesending or trying to make you feel stupid. Interview lasted over an hour, I think that is a good sign!
Drive would be a bit of a pain but I'm not going to complain. I think it was a good American Idol last night, I'm looking forward to seeing this one tonight where they really shop people to 24. I wish someone would answer my question about the non English keyboards. Oh, by the way, my resume turned out awesome, Jeremy helped w/ it.

Book Moot
Man I love books, I need to remember to go back to this and use it as a tool to find good books!
Asian and Middle Eastern Keyboards??
OK, just wondering. I was hitting next blog next blog and searching...for nothing in particular and noticed blogs that were not in English and not written w/ the letters. What does a keyboard look like with those symbols, has anyone seen one? Are they letter by letter or like a stenographer, have phrases of sorts? I'm really just curious. btw...why can't you search blogs? Just type in "baseball" or "jokes" and have blogs come up w/ those subjects...??? Oh well. Can you tell I'm bored. I guess I should clean out my office, oh well I still have 8 days.
Well I was so excited. I went to mom and dad's at lunch today and I was able to watch Katie and Henry's wedding. Katie's vows were SO sweet! I just hope they keep them together and keep Mike out of there.
In the real world Jeremy rented a valentine movie for us! We watched The Notebook. That was very sweet. I was a crier when that was over...Jeremy a little one.
Looking forward to chilimac and American Idol and Judging Amy tonight, plus I need to get my resume typed up for my interview tomorrow.
I don't want to be at the office today, it's February and in the 60's!

A ROSE
My sweet husband gave me a beautiful red rose for Valentine's Day. He did good!

Bull Durham's Hot Corner
Movie reviews. This may come in handy, or not.
Valentine's Day, Bah Humbug~
I guess I'll get Jeremy a card. But this is our 5th Valentine's Day and he's yet to get me anything. I'll get back w/ you by Tuesday and let you know. I know he got Drew a SpongeBob balloon. Well maybe I'll get a card. My parents are taking us out for pancakes. That will be yummy.
Happy Friday
I have nothing else to say really. Does anyone really read the babble I type? More than likely not. We watched No Mercy last night. 1986 Richard Gere and what's her name...I'll think of it, she really can not act, at all. Richard Gere hasn't changed much. I guess I saw that movie before but I really didn't remember much. You know what really bugged me, there is a scene where they are handcuffed together in the bayou. They are sitting under a shower and the entire scene are closeups as they "bond". I could NOT keep my eyes off the black smudge on her forehead...it was there...then it was gone...back on her head...totally gone. Then there was the hair plastered to his cheak...there...gone...there...gone...then a 3rd version. Man oh man they must have been WET. How many days did that take take??? Speaking of Richard Gere I really liked that little dance movie he did w/ Jennifer Lopez. Kim Basinger!
That's her name, man she SUCKS.

No offence to Steak and Shake
I have gotten 2 hits on my on line resume. Selling insurance and being a manager at Steak N Shake. Can you see it now? Geeze Louise! 11 business days until unemployment. Crap!
Tuesday, February 8, 2005
Ray
We watched Ray last night. What an awesome movie. I actually forgot I was watching Jamie Foxx. I totally understand the nomination, I'd say I hope he wins but I haven't seen any of the other movies that were nomiated.
No luck on the job front. I have an interview but it's selling insurance. That isn't going to be my cup of tea. I can't picture asking family and friends to buy insurance from me. I'd cancel the interview but I need the practice.

Unemployed
OK I'm techically unemployed. Looking for something in some aspect of marketing not necessarily in sales. St Louis City if possible. 6 figures w/ 5 week vacation. Just kidding, sort of.

Future Baseball Hall of Fame Jordan Cox

4th of July 2004
Super Bowl Prediction
No one will show a naked body part. Half time show will be horrible even though it's Paul McCarthy. Commercials will be too politically correct and the Pat's will cream the Eagles.
